Marcel C. Bühler
Biography and Research
I am a PhD student in the Advanced Interactive Technologies group of the Institut für Pervasive Computing at ETH Zurich, supervised by Professor Otmar Hilliges and Thabo Beeler . I obtained my Master's degree in Data Science from ETH Zurich in 2020 and my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Zurich in 2017. My experiences include generative human modeling, gaze estimation and data science in the real world.
In my research, I work on modeling photo-realistic digital humans. I believe that generative models should be controllable and—at least to some extent—interpretable. Therefore, I am interested in disentangled representation learning and explainable AI. If you would like to share experiences, or bounce an idea, please get in touch.
